Arts Commission Grants and DeadlinesThe Orange County Arts Commission offers two grant cycles annually and partners on the regional artist grant program, the Emerging Artists Grant.
Spring Grants Project Period: The spring cycle of grants will fund arts activities taking place from July 1, 2003-June 30, 2004. A fall cycle will also be available for all categories except the General Arts Support and the Arts in Education Coalition grants, which will be available annually. Supportable Projects: Applicants may request funds to support a variety of arts programs in the visual, performing, literary arts. Deadline: The Orange County Arts Commission will accept applications for all categories by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2003. Applications: Applications will be available online (in PDF format) in early March; hard-copies will be available at the Arts Commission office and at all Orange County Public Libraries. Information Session: The Arts Commission will hold a free grant-writing workshop on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at the Arts Commission office in Hillsborough.
